Some people tend to forget that summoners aren’t just normal people, they are powerful magicians and warriors.
I feel sick when others feel free to call your summoner a “mary sue” just because they have special abilities or have a some interesting perks.
Do you belive a simple civilian would be allowed to hold such power as a the one that allows you to control a champion?. Dude think twice and fuck yourself, summoners are as powerful (even maybe more) as any champion.

Hmm, I agree with you to a degree. I would say that they are stronger in certain magical aspects, but likely the champions are more powerful in offensive magic/melee stuff

((If they are stronger, why dont join the League themselves :V you can make your summoner strong, but not like they can one hit everything. Wasnt Lee a summoner once or so.))

Of course not. i mean i think no summoner would be at the level of chogath or maybe nocture and creatures weird like that.
But maybe there are even some more powerful than swain, ashe, sivir, etc.
Let’s not count the monsters yes? XD. And also why a summoner is not a champion? welp maybe because the summoners have a mission, the league started because of a reason, and champions have that title for a reason too.
Guys plz go read the page or the wiki, everything is there.

((I dont care enough for the summoners to even bother reading lol champions ftw. Everyone has their strengths and weakneses, you cant just assume that you are stronger than the other person, I guess thats op thinking. Hi Im a summoner, therefore stronger than every champ because I say so.))

((Ohey, a discussion. The idea that a summoner would be as powerful or even moreso than a champion is a tad flawed in my opinion. If that’s the case , why are they summoning and not IN the League themselves? Why do they need the League and all its champions to settle their disputes if they’re already more powerful than any of them?
Summoners having too much power is a pet peeve of mine, I would rather see a fan-made champion than a Mary-Sue of a summoner.))

[ Okay, I honestly hate partaking in these kinds of topics, but I think most of you are missing the point here. The Institute of War is basically a political facility. Disputes and arguments between city states are taken there, they have summoners that represent that city state to go against the summoner’s of the other city state.
They will summon their champions etc etc, whoever the winner is gets the outcome they so desire within reasonable measure. Yes summoners are mainly mages with somewhat great power, but are not champions for one reason. They do not take part of the direct fighting, they are the median that the city states use in order to resolve an issue with another city state.
All in all, yes they /can/ be stronger then champions, but that doesn’t make them champions. They just have the power to control them in order to fight for the city state they are aligned with.
Both summoners and champions are unique. None are ” Mary- Sue “, just because one wants to portray themselves as a summoner, doesn’t make them any more or less then a champion. ]

imperial-luminosity:

She tilted her head, and bit her lip upon the slamming of the door in her face. She merely shrugged afterwards and turned to leave, only to spin back on her heel as soon as the man invited her back in. “Thank you.” She muttered to him, dipping her head in respect.
Luxanna took note of his expression as she sat across from him, she knew what he was thinking. Even though she’d want to forget about it, being back in the same setting of those events did not help in the slightest. “Hrm. I suppose it’s hard to forget about something like that, especially when it’s almost deja vu at the moment.” She shook her head, averting her gaze. “I was just being childish and foolish back then..and gambled with my life, well, much like I’m doing again.”
She looked back at Darius, maintained a soft expression. “Well I see it has just been the usual. I don’t mind optically bending Noxian guards’ vision to visit Noxus every once in a while.” She giggled softly. “I won’t trouble you too much this time. I like to think we’re…secret acquaintances of the sort.” She chose her words carefully so that he would not interpret this the wrong way.

He raised an eyebrow at her last statement. ” Secret acquaintances hnn? I guess I could live with that. But yes, a very childish thought on thinking that you would pass off as my wife. It was an enjoyable time, but what has past has past. ” He joked around again, teasing her with past memories was rather enjoyable for him, just to see her reaction.
” Now, lets get down to business. What bring you here, besides coming to see me? As much as I enjoy your company you clearly have a reason towards traveling so far from the safety of Demacia. ” He questioned her.

cruelamfi:

She caught the towel and sighed; she was still full of energy. It was possible that even after few hours of training she’d still be bouncing around like a small frog or something. She plugged her lips and put the sword away. At least this time Darius did not comment on her actions; that encouraged her for sure, however she was not sure wether she’ll use the same method again.

She cleaned her face and neck from the sweat and nodded slowly. Armor! Though her face did not express really much, she was really excited about trying one of those suits. Usually she went around with the normal clothes that were good enough for fast running, jumping and “training” on moving targets.

With the help of some other students she was finally fully dressed in an armor. Darius was right. Her agility was reduced significally and her shoulders and back were not used to such heavy burden. However she did not complain and picking up a sword, she entered the ring once again, small smile on her face. She was always happy to try out new things. “I’m ready,” she announced.

” Not yet. First I want you to run the track, then practice on a striking dummy before you even attempt getting back into the ring. I wouldn’t want you disgracing me with a poor performance. Now, get to it. ” He ordered.

She was rather energetic then the other recruits he’s trained before, both a good and bad omen. On one side, she can overcome whatever he throws at her, but if she falls it won’t be the softest of landings. Everything will show when actually armor and weapons are issued instead of dummy weapons.

summonerrintohsaka:

Rin sighed, there she went with her mouth again. Shaking she head she though of something that she could say to cover her tracks.

“I may look young but I am no child. Magic simply keeps me from aging as fast you dolt.”

That would work, and hopefully keep him happy with that answer at least. Sighing she leaned against his desk an closing her eyes for a moment. The next question, that was one she didn’t even have the answer to.

“Several reasons come to mind. The main one being the elder mages a tired of me hanging around since I was released of my duty to maintain the champion Ahri. That would be my first guess, however I don’t even know myself. They just said be ready to be at his beck and call and help him in any way he needs.”

She growled as she spoke, she hated the way they made it sound but it was what they said word for word.

” Hmph, a feisty one aren’t you? Would explain the similarities you show with Ahri. Yet, the mages from your silly institute shouldn’t have sent me a secretary. I’ve got plenty of errand runner’s, but if your so insistent on staying I won’t complain. ” He sighed.

He could just have her clean his home, and sort paperwork until she got bored to death, and just moved on. But that didn’t seem the easiest way of getting rid of her, he would have to make her do the errands not even the most persistent of recruits would even want to do.

” Now lets see. The hall to your left, at the very end is a spare room, you can help yourself to it. The hall to your right, at the end there is my room. Never, ever go in unless instructed otherwise. Kitchen is the first door on the right of the left hall, and the study is the first door of the right hall. ” He explained the layout of his house.

Another Day, Another Fight.

thefruitmaidenrp:

To Irina, he just looks like some youngster who was forced to grow up to quickly. She glanced at the fireplace on the other side of the room, wondering if she should have turned it on. The general’s face is starting to get some color, meaning that the strong alcoholics were kicking in.

Irina looks rather uncomfortable. Not because of the cold of the poor arredated local. She isn’t bothered easily from the cold, even if she isn’t the Irina we are used to see, anyway. The hair is shorter and she’s much skinnier than when she moved to Bandle’s city. Her waist is clinged by an underbust, trying to mimic noxian fashion.

Anyway, she’s still a very young girl.

She’s feeling uncomfortable because the mighty new general looks rather.. sad.

Talking about how he’d sacrifice his life for the city. Its a proper though for a general. But hearing such a young man talking like this.. its almost scary.

He’s a totally different kind of person compared to the peaceful Irina. She proceeds to fill another glass.>You should keep your skin dear to you, Sir.< Its all she can say, very softly. It would probably be a dishonor for the general, and she doesn’t really know his possible reaction.

He listened to her words closely, the alcohol taking a strong grip on his thoughts, he’s seen and done so much already that he almost feels entirely numb to mercilessly killing others without showing any sort of remorse or sympathy.

” It doesn’t matter honestly. if I live, or if I die. It will be with a purpose, and my ideals in my head. The day will come, and I will welcome it, for someone worthy and strong enough to bring me down. ” Darius continued to drink from his glass.

[ Anyone want to talk? Not feeling all that great right now, could use some company. ]

askerdaina-deactivated20130413 asked:"Do you know the Noxian Diplomacy?"

” Noxian Diplomacy’s hm? As much as I would like to say it isn’t as propaganda says, but I would be lying to you. Yes, our policies is strength, over reason. One with enough power can earn the right for what they want, and the weak are left to die without a chance. ” Darius said sternly. It’s always been that way in Noxus. The strong only get stronger, where the weak attempt to get stronger but only fail.

Another Day, Another Fight.

thefruitmaidenrp:

<Not proud of what he has done? How weird. Irina though he was one of those who kept every kill in mind, pridefully. The voices that have been going around were about that.. The general wanted to retreat? And then Darius killed him, and moved the army to win? Noxus won another war. >

Of course, a leader of such a nation couldn’t ever be weak.

<She mutters. But the young man looks really proved from the war. He was someway well-know around the city, since he has always shown a certain predisponence to war. But now that Irina can see him again, after a combact, he really looks tired. She takes his glass and refills it.>

You saved Noxus, but are you saving yourself?

<She mutters, looking at her guest. That lifestyle doesn’t look healty. At all.>

” Weakness is a means to failure, you must be strong in order to continue the legacy of this nation of ours. Forever Strong. We all have the strength to overwhelm our enemies. ” He answered, watching her refill his glass.

” It isn’t about myself. As long as this nation rises to the glory, and strength it deserves, then I am saving myself. If I had to, and if the time ever comes where I must die for this nation.. I will, I will not go down without a fight though. If my death assures this nation greatness, I have no qualms about it. ” He said somberly, taking another long drink from the glass.

He could feel his body warming up, it was a rather cold night in the bar, it’s emptiness made it feel more cold then usual. To Darius, now being a general so quickly. He didn’t know what to do entirely, just.. Try to be a model for his own men on how to do what he believes is the right thing for Noxus. He stared down at the glass, wondering if this is what he truly wanted, or was it all a terrible mistake that he should have never made.

” ….. No. Get out. ” Darius said strongly, closing the door in front of her.
He took a few steps before stopping. She did say it wasn’t as before, considering the pain that she put him through, he shouldn’t be so rude at least. He walks back and opens the door, motioning her to come inside and take a seat.
” I guess, we could say it’s been a while, Luxana. ” He sighed, as he took his seat in front of her, continuing to remember all of the things that have happened between them in the past. It was a rather laughable experience, but something he wasn’t ready to do yet again a second time.
” Well lets see. I’ve put a lock on my wine cabinet now, so certain people can’t simply get into it and drink it without me knowing.. Besides that, the usual train the recruits, fill out and attend to Jericho Swain’s paperwork, and other petty work he puts me through. ” He jested.
He was rather glad to see her again, on different terms. Being alone pent up at his own home wasn’t always the healthiest thing for him.
